I Got Rhythm (Jazz Variant #4)
Download/view this sound (in MIDI format)
The preferred jazz changes of I Got Rhythm begin with a two bar cycle of four chords that is repeated twice. This variant substitutes different chord in the last bar of the first repetition and the first bar of the second repetition to produce a chord sequence that lasts for four bars, which causes the bass line of four of the middle chords of the sequence to ascend by half-steps..
