Giant Steps begins with a single B triad, which is played in the key of B. The tune in its last bar ends with C#mi7 F#7, the ii-V sequence in the key of B which leads directly to this chord.

New feature: use the SongTrellis Excerpt Service to customize this piece. Prepare scores for transposing instruments, transpose the score to a new key, change tempo, clip an excerpt for your own practice, study, or composition work.
