Chord changes for Billy Strayhorn's Lush Life. The form of this song is quite complex. It begins with a 28 bar verse. The 7 bar A section of the verse is repeated twice followed by a 14 bar B section. The main channel of the tune, which is repeated during solos is 24 bars long.

John Coltrane did a wonderful instrumental version of this on his album entitled Lush Life as did Stan Getz on his album "Captain Marvel".

Notable vocal performances were done by Johnny Hartman in his duets with John Coltrane on the album "Johnny Hartman and John Coltrane" and by Sheila Jordan in a duet with bassist Arild Andersen on her album on Steeplechase Records entitled "Sheila".
