I finally tracked down a UX16 connector, and the staff at the music store assured me it would work with my computer (Windows NT 4). After the 30-minute drive across town, I discovered it doesn't work. A search of the Internet revealed there's no support for USB connectors under Windows NT! Went back to the Yamaha site where it appears all their MIDI hardware relies on USB. So at this point I'm wondering if there is no way at all to make my Yamaha P-80 keyboard "talk" to my computer? (Wish I could afford a Mac.)
