Recently I saw a film - a thriller - on TV, but having missed the beginning I don't know the title. `Straighten up and Fly Right' was used as background music. It was an enthralling performance by a female vocalist, with a very fine piano accompaniment, quasi ad lib. (Not the adorable Diana Krall.) Can anyone tell me the title of any film that matches these few details? I'd buy it, just for the song.

Raymond Beaver.
