For some reason this tune conjures happy childhood memories of playing in an empty playground on a slightly damp yet sunny October day in the late afternoon.

Of course it is named after the Baroness Panonica Der Konigsweiller (sp?) or "Nica" for short, who was a active patron of the arts, and lasting friend of both Monk and of Bird.

New feature: use the SongTrellis Excerpt Service to customize this piece. Prepare scores for transposing instruments, transpose the score to a new key, change tempo, clip an excerpt for your own practice, study, or composition work.
