1. Regarding the explanation of the intro, this appears to be a different intro from the one I recall on the Glen Campbell hit. On that one, I DO consider the intro to be 4 bars, with the melody beginning with pickup notes on bar 4, and the A section to be 7 bars.

2. IIRC, the D in bar 7 (which I consider to actually be bar 6) is a Dsus on Campbell's.

3. The Dm/A in the B section is not correct, as there is an F# melody note in that measure (melody goes G-F#-D.

4. Jim Webb appears to like going (however briefly) to key of VI, as several of his songs do that. (I like it, too.)
