This is a variant of the preferred jazz changes for I Got Rhythm that substitutes a diminished chord for the second chord of the intial chord cycle of the A section in order to produce a bass line for the beginning of the progression that ascends by half step (Bb-B-C) rather than (Bb-G-C).
