Chord changes for Lee Morgan's Melancholee which was first recorded on Morgan's "Search For The New Land" album for Blue Note records.

There were no sheet music sources that I could find for this composition so I transcribed it. I am reasonably satisfied with the chord identifications I have made, although I have some doubts about the actual id of the chords I have labelled as Fmi11 at the end of each of the eight bar A sections. I oscillate between identifying these chords as an Fmi11 or an F7. Herbie Hancock plays these in a broken fashion spread over such a wide span that their identity is obscured for me. If your ears are better, please send me your opinion.

This tune is a 32 bar AABA form, with the A and B sections being 8 bars long.
